Airpaq on Galileo: Our sustainable backpack on TV

Airpaq on Galileo on ProSieben

"Mom, I'm on TV!" – This sentence was uttered with broad grins in our team, because: Airpaq was on Galileo! The science program on ProSieben got exclusive insights into our sustainable production and broadcast a report about us. The segment aired at 7:05 pm during prime time – a huge milestone for us!

From idea to TV segment

Galileo accompanied us – from the initial idea behind Airpaq, through the junkyard where it all begins, to the final production of our backpacks in Romania. The film not only explained the upcycling concept but also introduced the people behind the brand. It was important for us to show that sustainability isn't just a trend, but deeply rooted in our DNA.

Exclusive insights into the production

The report shows how high-quality backpacks are made from old car parts like airbags and seatbelts. Galileo took a close look with their camera: How is the material processed? What does our production facility in Romania look like? And how do we ensure that every Airpaq product is unique and durable?

The reactions to the post

The broadcast on Galileo generated a lot of attention – both on social media and in the press. We received numerous messages and comments, and many people became aware of our idea for the first time. The coverage in South Tyrol, the home of our co-founder Michael, was particularly gratifying.
