Why only €10 per product?

The price of €89 to €229 already includes the higher costs of the special edition as well as the donation. A higher individual donation would have made the product more expensive and deterred many buyers.

What does 'upcycled' mean?

We source surplus materials like airbags and seatbelts directly from the safety industry before they are recycled or incinerated. Instead of processing these materials in an energy-intensive way, we reuse them in their existing form. This is the pinnacle of sustainability, because upcycling often conserves resources even more effectively than recycling.

Why is the Airpaq more expensive than other backpacks?

Made from original airbags and seat belts, extremely durable and fairly produced. A lower price? That would only come at the expense of quality, materials, or fair manufacturing – and that's not an option for us.

Is the backpack heavy?

Thanks to the robust airbag materials, the backpack is particularly durable. On average, it weighs about 200g more than conventional models in its size class, but remains comfortable to wear and suitable for everyday use.

What size backpack do I need?

The 21L is compact and ideal for everyday use, work, or university. The 35L (BIQ) offers more space for travel and larger laptops. Both models have the same compartments and features. The BIQ is the better choice if your laptop is larger than 15 inches or you are taller than 1.80 m.

Is the backpack comfortable to wear for extended periods of time?

Yes, thanks to the wide shoulder straps and ergonomic design, the backpack is comfortable to wear even for extended periods. A chest strap is available as an optional extra.

Can I safely store my laptop?

Yes, the backpack has a padded laptop compartment that safely holds devices up to 15 inches. If you have a larger laptop, we recommend the roll-top BIQ with a 35-liter capacity.

Is the backpack waterproof?

The backpack is waterproof and can easily withstand most rain. For extremely wet conditions, we recommend additional rain covers.

Can I wash the backpack?

Ultrasuede material is not only exceptionally robust but also particularly easy to care for. Dirt can be easily removed with water and a little mild soapy water by gently cleaning the surface. For added protection, the material can be impregnated, making it even more resistant to moisture and dirt. With minimal effort, Ultrasuede retains its elegant appearance for a long time.

Is there a guarantee?

We offer a two-year warranty on all our products. This way you can be sure that your backpack will last you a long time. If a problem arises within this period, we will first try to repair your backpack without immediately replacing it.
