Is shipping free?
Shipping costs in Germany/Austria
Shipping of our products within Germany and Austria is free for orders over €99.
Shipping costs below the minimum order value:
Within the EU: €6
Switzerland, Canada, USA and Mexico: €9.10
Rest of the world: €16.10.
Is VAT already included?
Value added tax is included for deliveries within Germany and the EU.
Which shipping provider is used?
We ship our products CO2-neutrally with the shipping service provider DHL & GO GREEN.
Can I return an old or broken product to you?
Yes, with Circular-Return we offer you the opportunity to exchange your older or broken product.
You will receive a €50 credit for our online shop. We will recycle your old backpack and return the individual parts to the manufacturing process, in line with the principles of a circular economy.

Is return shipping free?
The customer bears the return shipping costs in Germany and for international orders.
Why we don't offer free return shipping
At Airpaq, we live and breathe sustainability. And this is reflected in every detail of our actions. One particular aspect where we handle returns differently. Here are our reasons why we no longer offer free returns:

Conscious consumption: We believe that sustainable practices begin with the purchase itself. When you order from us, we want you to be confident that you've chosen exactly the right thing. We want to reduce the "just ordering something to look at and then sending it back" mentality, as this creates a significant carbon footprint. Think carefully about each order – together we can reduce unnecessary transport and make the planet a little bit better.
- Transparent pricing: Nothing is truly "free," and that includes "free" returns. Often, these costs are already included in the product price. With us, you see exactly what you're paying for. Instead of hiding return shipping costs in the price, we separate them. This way, you only pay for what you actually receive.
- Support for us as a small business: Returns cost us a lot. Every return avoided helps us to keep our prices fair and stay true to our sustainable philosophy.
Another point to consider: Returns not only incur financial costs. They consume resources and generate waste. Packaging that can no longer be used, or products that can no longer be sold, place an additional burden on the environment.
Therefore, we ask you to consider your orders carefully and simply contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We are happy to help you so that you are satisfied and we can do something good for our planet together.
How do I get a return label?
To ensure we can process your order, please include the return slip in the package. This is not to be confused with the return shipping label, which you must obtain at your own expense from a shipping provider of your choice.

Can I keep my free product if I return it?
If you received a free product with your order as part of a promotion such as Circular Week and decide to return it, we will deduct the retail price of the free product from the refund amount, provided you keep it. In this sense, you are welcome to keep the product even if you pay for it.
Example: You receive a free waist pack with a roll-top backpack and decide to return the backpack. In this case, we would refund you €110 (€159 - €49).
What are the delivery times?
Delivery of goods takes place within Germany within 1-3 working days, within the EU within 6-8 days and for deliveries outside the EU within 10-14 days after conclusion of the contract and receipt of payment.
Potential customs costs for a non-EU country
For shipments to non-EU countries, import duties (customs) may apply to your order. We are not responsible for any customs fees incurred. For details, please contact the relevant authorities directly.
Do you also deliver on Sundays and public holidays?
Please note that there are no deliveries on Sundays and public holidays.

Where and under what working conditions are your products manufactured?
All our backpacks, bags and bow ties with matching pocket squares are produced under fair and social working conditions, with fair wages and according to EU standards in a sewing factory in Timișoara, Romania.
Are airbags that have already been involved in accidents also used?
We exclusively use airbags that come to us as rejects. This means we only use airbags that are new but didn't pass our rigorous safety checks. These include minor "defects" such as uneven seams. Instead of throwing them away, we repurpose them into wearable backpacks and accessories.
Are Airpaq products waterproof?
The airbag fabric and lining we use in our backpacks, bags, and waist packs are waterproof and slightly water-repellent. This keeps the contents dry from rain and splashes for a certain period of time. However, we still don't recommend swimming with these products!
How can I wash my Airpaq?
The best way to wash it is to use a scrub brush and thoroughly brush the backpack with warm water and stain remover/hand wash. The airbag fabric can be scrubbed vigorously; the robust material can withstand it, and this will also clean the white part.
The interior should be treated with a little more care; we recommend hand washing. We do not recommend machine washing. While the backpack and its color should withstand a gentle spin cycle at a low temperature, the metal parts of the buckle could damage your washing machine. Therefore, we advise against machine washing.
To dry, it's best to hang it outside, and if the inner bag gets wet, turn it inside out and wring out any very wet areas.
Do you offer a student discount?
Yes! We were students ourselves once and understand your situation very well. You can find information about our student discount here .
Can I combine discounts?
All discount offers cannot be combined with other offers. You must choose one offer.
