Instructions for use & safety information

  • The hook fits luggage racks with a maximum bar diameter of 16 mm.
  • The usable length of the luggage rack should be at least 21 cm.
  • 8 kg maximum load capacity

This is how the attachment works :

  1. Insert the bicycle hook into the designated* weave of seat straps on the back of the roll-top. *See instructions for use.
  2. Lift the entire backpack by the handle of the bicycle hook; this will open the hooks.
  3. Place the backpack, along with the hooks, on the rack bar and release the handle. The hooks will close automatically and the backpack will be secured.
  4. Please wrap the backpack straps forward and fasten them with your seatbelt buckle. This will prevent anything from getting caught in the spokes while you ride.

The wheel suspension may only be used on bicycles where protective measures such as mudguards or bars prevent the backpack from getting caught in the spokes.

    What does 'upcycled' mean?

    We source surplus materials like airbags and seatbelts directly from the safety industry before they are recycled or incinerated. Instead of processing these materials in an energy-intensive way, we reuse them in their existing form. This is the pinnacle of sustainability, because upcycling often conserves resources even more effectively than recycling.

    Why is the Airpaq more expensive than other manufacturers?

    Made from original airbags and seat belts, extremely durable and fairly produced. A lower price? That would only come at the expense of quality, materials, or fair manufacturing – and that's not an option for us.

    Is the bag waterproof?

    The bag is waterproof and easily withstands European weather.

    Can I wash the bag?

    Take a brush and scrub the material thoroughly with warm water. For heavier soiling, use a mild hand detergent. Hang over a clothes rack to dry.

    Is there a guarantee?

    We offer a two-year warranty on all our products. This way you can be sure that your backpack will last you a long time. If a problem arises within this period, we will first try to repair your backpack without immediately replacing it.
